The National Stutterers' Hotline
The National Stutterers' Hotline - (1-800-221-2483) is a toll-free number
available in all 50 states and Canada. Any question on any subject related
to stuttering (causation, research, treatment, or training) can be put
to trained counselors who are available Monday through Friday between the
hours of 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
For those outside the United
States and Canada, the Hotline Number is 212-532-1460. We particularly
wish to encourage those who stutter and who may be hesitant about calling
to make the effort; we can, if you wish, arrange a FREE TELEPHONE CONSULTATION
for you with Dr. Martin F. Schwartz, our Executive
Director.
