The National Center For Stuttering The National Center For Stuttering was established in 1976. Its purposes are: To provide up-to-date factual information about stuttering. To provide a National Stutterer's Hotline. To treat small groups of selected individuals who stutter. To provide continuing education for speech pathologists. To conduct research into the causes and treatment of stuttering. The Center conducts its therapeutic, research and training activities in various cities across the United States and Europe.
